Tony Bundock has been in the Horticultural industry for over 45 years since starting a Saturday job at a tree and shrub nursery in the UK. After leaving school, Tony graduated through Writtle Agricultural College in Commercial Greenhouse Cropping before going on to manage a cut flower farm in the Lea Valley. After emigrating in 1990, (no - he wasn’t deported!) Tony became involved in training and progressed to managing Chisholm Institute’s National Precision Growing Centre, before joining Powerplants Australia as their lead trainer. Tony holds a Masters degree in Education, and is now the Director of Genesis Horticultural Solutions, a company that provides technical training for the protected cropping and berry industries Australia wide in the use of Priva climate management and irrigation equipment.
Tony is also the Secretary of the HFF and a PCA board member. And if he wasn’t busy enough, in his spare time Tony is also a volunteer firefighter with Country Fire Authority, enjoys boating and fishing, and repairing the damage around his house caused by his marauding Golden Retriever – Sophie.
