Herman loves cool cucumbers, tasty tomatoes, sweet peppers and a red hot party. He is delighted, energized and ready to enjoy a mix of technical talks and cat herding at the HFF conference 2024. The best ever ‘Enza Zaden After Party’ at the 2021 conference nearly broke him and he still keeps popping up like a whack-a-mole. He is back again as our MC in 2024. Herman’s colleagues are arranging the Welcome Drinks to prevent them getting out of hand, enable peak performance and prevent premature over networking.

With a background of family horticulture, introducing new vegetable genetics in New Zealand and Australia over 25 years, a commerce degree in horticulture, and extracurricular training in zymology, Herman is the one to keep us socially engaged, and on track. He helps to spread the love from our superb speakers and keeps everyone informed.
